We enjoyed walking around and getting acquainted with the people and town.
The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and we had a wonderful night’s sleep.
Location is amazing, building and rooms are great. Room is charming
NO elevator, if you have heavy suitcases, good luck. They offer you a convinient room for $75 on the first floor.
The mattresses are really tired, I am sure Jane Austin’s friends slept on them

We had a truly lovely stay at Dukes. The staff were exceptionally hospitable – warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive. A special shout-out to Skomante, Jordan, and Jay, who made our stay even more memorable with their kindness and outstanding service.
The room was neat, clean, and very comfortable, making it so easy to unwind after visiting the Christmas market and exploring the city. The hotel’s festive Christmas décor added a cosy, magical touch throughout our stay.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious each morning, with great variety and quality that set the perfect tone for the day.
We also loved the dinner included at Plate, The Bird, which offered fantastic food and a lovely dining experience.
A wonderful choice for a festive getaway in Bath. Highly recommended! 🎄✨
The room was excellent, with many period features and a view up to Prior Park. The staff were very attentive- nothing too much trouble. We have added it to our list of good places to stay in Bath
Beautiful, cosy, comfortable hotel if you don't need air conditioning. Ideal location and very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with a good combination of buffet and menu. The only downside for us was no lift. Unless a ground floor room is available, people with impaired mobility should not book this hotel, which is a shame.
The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. They helped to make our visit in Bath more wonderful, giving us a map and advice on where to go and what to see. We arrived later and were assigned a room on the top floor - climbing the steps was a bit of a hassle, the bathroom and shower accommodations were a bit small, but other than this the facilities were very comfortable. We were able to find a place to park in front of the hotel and didn't have to get back in our car until we left town, everything was within walking distance. Our breakfast was wonderful.

Decent
Overall, great location. Felt like I got. Good deal because I got upgraded. Second day, the room smelled strongly of. Leaning products. I had to open windows and run
A fan to solve the issue. Also, wifi signal was nonexistent.
Nous avons eu un service impeccable au Duke’s hôtel. L’hôtel est très bien placé, facile d’accès. Notre chambre était magnifique. Je n’ai absolument rien de négatif à dire sur cet hôtel
We stayed at Dukes for three nights and found it to be a delightful hotel, the staff was very helpful and cheerful and the room was comfortable and spacious. We thouroughly enjoyed the stay and recommend it to anyone who visits Bath. It is close to the city center and within walking distance of most attractions. We plan to stay there again if we return to Bath.
Dukes Hotel is a pet friebndly hotel which means that they will allow you to have a well behaved pet in your room. Understandably dogs were not allowed in any of the hotels public areas which should reassure those non pet owners visiting. The owners of the hotel were very helpful in signposting us to the nearest park to take our dog for exercise which was very close to the hotel and very convenient. Being able to bring my pet to such a lovely hotel was a pleasure and made me want to respect the surroundings as a consequence of that. The breakfast was very nice and the oweners were clearly keen to please and make sure the stay was a pleasant one. Being able to have a parking permit from the hotel in order to park near to it (subject to a space being available) was also a big bonus as it is difficult to find parking in bath. So the whole experience for my one night stay was perfect and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to pet and non pet owners equally. I would definately come back there if I return to Bath.
Lovely room, great style and decor, fits in beautifully in Bath. Superb service, incredibly friendly and helpful team. Overall I would highly recommend it and will be back. Thank you.
A very comfortable and neatly maintained hotel with beautiful period decor. Loved the high ceilings and central location. Helpful, hands-on owners who welcomed us with a bottle of wine in our room.
This Hotel is ideally situated for walking into town to shops or restaurants. It also offers that Georgian elegance as soon as you walk through the front door. the staff are well trained and friendly. A very pleasant stay.
A really wonderful comfortable clean hotel. We stayed in the Wellington suite which was very roomy and comfortable staff are really pleasant and helpful hotel is close enough to walk to the centre but also in a quiet area we were lucky and got a parking space outside the hotel so could see car from our room window. Parking permits are provided by the hotel. Hotel has lots of Georgian characters well worth a stay
