Comfortable stay

Warm welcome and a very comfortable, spacious, lower ground floor room with huge wet room bathroom. Very quiet and delicious cooked breakfast. Friendly family run house with helpful recommendations for eating out and visiting.

The property was very well kept and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. My room was a great size and well furnished, with a sizable bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to cater for gluten free.

Lovely place to stay

Amazing place, comfortable, convenient, friendly host, and superb breakfast! Box is lovely, and Bath only a few miles away. Highly recommended.

Great location for Bath, and countryside visiting. Box is an interesting place in itself, and easy transport out. Nice couple of pubs and cafe, shop close by too so everything you need. Lovely accommodation, very welcoming hosts , lovely airy / sunny aspect.

I felt like visiting family. Lorne House and the hosts Bob and Liz have really created that aura 'home away from home'. The cozy and warm room, the welcoming and personal service, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the small but informative chats, and much more. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this home (not a house) for any couple who would like to stay in Bath for 3-4 nights. Thank you, Bob and Liz!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Lorne House but my first time since I was a teenager. Bob was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d go as far as to say this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in with a lovely old feel and enormous comfy bed. My partner and I were pleased to come back after a long day in Bath to a luxurious bathroom which was the most well equipped I’ve seen from a B&B. The breakfast was lovely and our check in and out was easy. The parking on site is tight but so convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will make another visit to the area just to stay at Lorne House again. Thank you!😃

The room looked lovely and as did others that we could see into as we passed along the corridor. The place had a very homely feel and is elegant in decoration. Such a shame there was a large stain on the bedroom carpet.

A lovely B&B! The owners, Bob and Liz, are lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had an enormous bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we will return.
