「The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.」

「JJ and Marie and staff were great hosts!! Very friendly and welcoming to Portstewart. I would return for sure as the accommodation was great and convenient to walks and transportation. And breakfast was delicious with lots of options. All around great stay.」

「Stayed for one night while up the north coast. Easy to find and appreciated the map for parking round the back of property. Host was friendly and welcoming. Room was fine though noise was an issue. The traffic noise from main road was not great. Also, you could hear next door and door closing. These were the only real negative aspects from my stay. 」

「We stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Portrush. The hotel is very well located. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast served in the mornings was very good. The parking is offsite but we had no issue finding street parking close to the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we find ourselves in this very beautiful part of the world.」

「5 stars is too much for this hotel. Double bed is in fact suitable only for one short person! Photos are not like the reality there. No shelf in the bathroom to even put your wash bag. Nothing is practical. And breakfast was the worst part. They gave me white toast saying this is sourdough. Staff are not nice (except one person at front desk). Things were constantly not working. Also no parking for 5 star hotel! It’s def a 3 star hotel」
