Great stay, clean, tidy and good facilities
Owner was very polite, checked in with us before our stay to make and again to make sure we got in ok or needed anything
Had a lovely stay here, big gorgeous room with a comfortable bed, bathroom & kitchen facilities were well equipped and clean. Area was quiet and peaceful, a little walk out of the main area of town but wasn’t an issue. Very smooth check in & check out process, a lovely stay altogether!
Had a beautiful big room. Great living room and big kitchen. Good location and walking distance in and out of town. Staff are accommodating and friendly.
The bed was so comfy. Room was tastefully decorated. No TV was not the problem you might expect as we were very tired from traveling and glad of no distractions, went to eat at City Hotel, excellent food and great service.
Great hotel with lots of character. Our room
Was beautiful and spacious, and we enjoyed having the kitchen so we could make breakfast before going out to explore. We had a couple of issues during our stay (internet not working twice, and one of the shower heads loosing pressure on our last day), but they were promptly fixed upon contacting the management.
What a fantastic place! 10
Individual rooms, a large guest house vibe with a massive living room and kitchen and you can order breakfast in bed for £5.50 and it was delivered hot and on the dot! They run a clean ship here too! Check in was great with Vllin and all communication sound. They went above and beyond for me and I would give this a solid 10/10
Room and entire house looked amazing. I wished there were more sockets in the room though, there was only one by the dressing table away from the bed, would also be nice if the toilet/shower was on each floor. Had to go downstairs to shower and wasn’t very convenient, everything else was amazing though, from check in to check out.
Londonderry is a must visit town. So clean and unique from other parts of Ireland. The room we had was on the very top floor which was hard to get to but worth it as our view was gorgeous. The place has parking and is just a 10 minute walk from the city center. Don't be alarmed by the shared bathrooms on the listing, they are spotless and beautifully decorated, also private and multiple throughout the building incase they are in use on your floor.
Very convenient to where I was going in Derry. Connor called to make sure I had arrived and found my room ok. He replaced the bedside lamp bulb immediately and gave me helpful directions to the venue I was going to and where I could park. I thought ghis room was great value ... maybe not the most comfortable pillows!
Lovely big (shared) bathroom.
Tastefully decorated and clean throughout.
Breakfast could have been ordered and delivered to your room at a very reasonable price. However, as I I was going to meet a friend, I did not try it out.
This is a very well-maintained property in Derry. It is quiet, safe and within walking distance to all the great venues in town. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of fridge/freezer space, 2 hobs and ovens, a microwave and an island. The living room is spacious and offers a dining table, a TV and lots of daylight from the large bay window. The management ensures that things are kept in top shape and maintained and clean. As for inconveniences, it would be very nice to have a WC on the ground floor. You have to climb several flights of steps to access the toilets. But, that's hardly a deal breaker.
22 The Square was a good surprise. We didn’t expect it to be that good based on the pictures. I think they are outdated because we were in room 9 and it looks way more modern than on the pictures. We were two friends travelling and ended up with 3 beds in our private room, which was quite a luxury.
The bathrooms/toilets are shared but really clean (cleaned everyday by excellent and sweet ladies) and in good amount compared to the rooms.
The kitchen is well supplied and big enough, just as the living room.
You also have access to a tv, dishwasher, microwave, two ovens, two fridges, 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.
Only thing I would make a comment about is the isolation/temperature. I think the windows are not new compared to the rest, so there is usually humidity/water on them. But we were never cold, actually we were quite hot most of the time and ended up having the window open a lot. I think they’re trying to balance the poor isolation with a lot of heating.
Nonetheless, we slept really good and it didn’t bothered us that much in our daily life there.
The location is great (be ready to climb a bit).
And room 9 and 10 have a nice view on the valley/city.
