We went to Derry to learn about the old and more recent history of the city This B and B is situated just north of the old city walls offering easy access to the Peace Bridge, Guild Hall, local tours and nightlife We were very happy with the location and our hosts cooked up a wonderful Irish breakfast to ready us for a day of exploration - finding parking on the street right in front was easy

The welcome from Seamus and his team was 5*. Very friendly and welcoming. The reception and breakfast areas are clean, attractive and interesting with lots of music memorabilia on the walls. Nice! The room we had, however, was not up to the standard of the pictures on the internet. It was clean but very basic and the bathroom desperately needs complete refitting. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was good. Freshly cooked with everything you could possibly want and the service was excellent . The B&B is situated within easy walking distance of the river and lots of bars and restaurants. Over all Abbey B&B is good value for money.
