「First of all, this is a very quiet hotel in the bustling city of Rome. Even the Taxi cab that drove us there admitted this you get out of the daily hum of the touristy area. 「Ideal location, a short walk to the metro stop and tram. Out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre, felt like being a local. Check in was smooth with great instructions, apartment was pretty clean with lots of useful amenities between the room and the common area. 「The guest room is in a decent location. My issue is that when I booked the guest room, the listing showed a double bed with a headboard. What I got was actually a sofa bed. The number on Expedia gave me another number to contact, to which I had to provide my passport, and talk about paying the traveller's tax. I found this experience stressful and very uncomfortable. 「this seems like it was an office building converted into rooms. There is no sound dampening inside or outside of the room, everyone could hear me and I could hear them. The check in process was the most confusing I have ever experienced. It has none of the benefits of a hotel or an Air bnb. 」
