"place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. "Everything was great. Just a few recommendations, turn up the heat on the eggs and bacon in the buffet slightly cold. Also turn up the heat on the coffee. Front desk, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Helped us set up multiple transports and made helpful recommendations."

"Wonderful stay! Very beautiful and charming hotel. Seems like hotel is an iconic, historic property. Staff was kind and considerate. Very beautiful property with a lovely garden and presence. Very easy (and free) parking onsite. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, with wonderful natural light. Shower pressure was excellent. Not too far from Ortigia (approximately 1 1/2 miles). If you have a car, can drive from hotel and park near Ortigia and enjoy nearby sites. Breakfast was above average with coffee/tea, juices, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, toast, pastries and fruit and cheese. Enjoyed offerings for breakfast. Would stay here again!"

"This is a fabulous perfect hotel in a great location. The only fault I could find was that we ran out of tissues on day 2 of a 3 night stay and they were not replaced. It should have been caught but I also didn’t make a specific request. They were SO helpful with the car and directions—not an easy thing in that location"

"The hotel is beautiful and the first night I was there I was in a really cool room with a loft. I left for a week and then came back and stayed another night. This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well located."
