「Great location, downtown Royal Oak. Main Street shops and restaurants are easily walkable. Staff, bartender and manager have been helpful and friendly. Bed is big and comfortable. The lobby is pretty cool, it’d actually be a nice place to hang out for a bit. Parking is located behind hotel. We were able to park in front at curb to register and then moved car around back. 」

「The staff was very nice and they were happy to accommodate all of our needs. However, the hotel itself did seem a bit rundown. I had considered switching hotels after the first night but because it was such a short visit I decided to stick it out. It looked a lot better from the outside, so I was disappointed once I was inside.」

「I had a pleasant stay while visiting my daughter at college. The location is between downtown and midtown so the area restaurants are better and more targeted towards locals. I did have problems with the WiFi. It was terrible. The AC in the room was really humid. It was cold but humid. I had a roll of paper towels with me and they were moist. It was weird. I heard that the hotel was new so they have some kinks to work out but I will stay again. You get everything that you expect from a Marriott.」
