「It was a small kitchen but good enough to cook small meals rather have to eat out every time. The Bungalow was extremely clean and well maintained with a wonderfully comfortable Purple Bed and cloud pillows. Very tastefully done and very classy with so many additions for comfort. Hosts were superb. 」

「Keep breakfast open until 10. We were in accessible room and the bathroom was cold. Sink had poor pressure. Shower soap was out. Tub made noises like it was going to collapse. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were soft.」

「The hotel was good enough and close to town. The room was a little dark which didn't feel inviting to us, possible just a difference in taste. The room was clean but the beds and comforters were not very comfortable. The breakfast was not worth going to. Over all a good stay but we'll try something else next visit.」

「The front desk person was so friendly, polite. Answered all my questions. The room was dirty, the bathroom mirror was filthy. I thought it may be stained so I grabbed a tissue to wipe it and the dirt came off. The front staff was so kind saying there was breakfast and to please help myself but I could not eat the were knowing how dirty the bathroom was. 」

「We got there just as everything was opening. The lodge is clean , comfortable and helpful in showing us where the outside camp kitchen was in order to grill steaks. Sleeping was a little challenging as a bus full of teenagers pulled up and basically ran up and down the halls and stairs all night. Kids will be kids. I was just wondering where are the adults. It was kinda rude and inconsiderate」

「Sunday morning they ran out of breakfast by 9am. Many visitors went without, and none of the staff showed any interest re filling. One the guest actually asked, and nothing happened」

「The staff was so nice. Rooms were wonderful. Loved they had a fridge and microwave. Loved the pool and jacuzzi were saltwater so you didn’t have the chlorine smell. We will definitely be back at this hotel next time we visit. 」

「Absolutely Stunning Setting. Very close to major attractions and tourist stops, however a brief turn along a scenic road will take you to a place of natural beauty ,a peaceful valley where the KayBar S lodge sits nestled amongst the tall pines.」

「The staff was great! Very kind. Breakfast was simple but good. The room was clean, except for the carpet - which is my only critique. Otherwise our stay was great and we would stay here again! It’s very close to Mt. Rushmore. Not really walking distance but close. We stayed there and saw The Badlands, Mt. Rushmore and Wind Cave. It was the perfect location to see all of those sights! 」
