When we entered Hotel you could smell damp in the corridors. Refurbishment and better maintenance should be a focus. Facilities are okay but is visible they're not maintained as they should be. Finally breakfast is unacceptable for...

「We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! We had dinner here and it was...

「I think the ratings received corespond to the hotel location (on the 18th hole at the Old Corse) and not the actual facility. All four of us arrived in a van that could not be parked by staff so we had to use the public facility ten minutes away by foot. It’s a very nice but dated hotel that doesn’t live up to expectations based on price. By the way, the lighting in the room is brutal. Low ceilings and low wattage bulbs.」
