If you really wanna experience Edinburgh and not have to uber everywhere, this place is very centralized and probably within a mile of most of the stuff we did there. We stayed in Apartment 8 and the first thing that must be stated is that there is no views out the windows. They are frosted for privacy ... Wow such a beautiful place. Would love to go again. The entire place feels like a movie. Did not see anything run down. The Royal Mile, zoo castle and more. Would recommend 100%
The Mary King Close was worth a visit, the tour takes you down three levels of the streets and accommodation of old Edinburgh now underneath the Exchange Square.
