"This is not a hostel. It is a homeless shelter and should not be advertised on Expedia.
There are no on site staff to sign you in. It is done via camera and tv. The place is not clean and there are no amenities. The pictures used show a social area with young backpackers but this is definitely how the building is now. "

"We stayed at the Playford for 2 nights. We had one of the rooms with a mezzanine. A nice room but could have been better laid out. A great shower. A lovely comfortable bed but if you moved out of bed the sensor for the stairs came on and there was a LOT of lighting. Same thing downstairs as soon as you entered the room the sensor went off. I realise it’s for safety on the stairs at night but just too much. "
