「We stayed in the main house and the accommodations were excellent and staff very friendly. Seems they are just getting established as the liquor license was issued the day of our departure and in house dining was not yet available. Breakfast was top shelf. It is a bit remote and off property activities require a long drive.」

Comfortable cottage with three beds (two bedrooms) and one bathroom, plus view of a picturesque pastoral scene: a field of green grass, white fence, a friendly dog who politely asks to play ball if you like (and leaves you alone if you don’t), and the occasional mooing of the cows in the distance. There’s WiFi in the house if you need it (no WiFi in cottages) but it’s the kind of place where it’s a good idea to unplug. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee first thing in the...
