「The Port Hotel is the best! Warm and friendly staff, close to the water. Great place to stay 」

「Our room was fine. Overflow parking areas should be better marked. There is one small parking lot labeled Ramada parking. We were there for a concert at the rave so that lot was full and there was no nearby street parking. We just happened to check with the people at the ambassador if we could park in their garage to find out that the hotels are sister hotels and that is also parking for Ramada. 「The place was quite clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the heater and air conditioning thermostat malfunctioned, preventing me from getting any sleep. Our room temperature remained at a scorching 81 degrees throughout the night. I reached out to the property and they suggested we lowered it to 40-50 degrees. However, after making this adjustment, our room experienced extreme fluctuations, alternating between freezing cold and scorching hot. 」

「Our check in gal Janet was the nicest check in person I have ever had in my many hotel stays. She is an asset to this hotel I was very impressed by this hotel. Nicest I’ve ever been to. My Granddaughter recently moved to Hakes Corners. We will definitely always pick this place to stay when we visit. Only negative was the breakfast. Scrambled eggs would be a much better choice than the cheese omelette they offered. Tasted like made with cheese whiz. Thx Janet you were awesome」

「When I reserved my room was not told the pool was scheduled for maintenance. After checking in was told the pool closed that morning for scheduled maintenance cleaning. Rented there just for the pool」

「Room was very clean! Jet tub was great. I see other people complain about it looking out of date, but I'd rather see personality than grey/white. Floor tile inside rooms were green like the building. I don't know what it's like staying in a Irish Inn, but I imagine this is pretty close, or makes you feel like it is. 「My kids loved the pool, the grown ups loved the nearby activities and restaurants. Parking was easy. Room was spacious, clean, beds comfy. The breakfast was well stocked and very clean. The staff were above and beyond kind and friendly. My family was very happy this stay. We booked to come back as soon as we left. Also very close and convenient to the botanical gardens, the parkway, and downtown Greendale. We kept very busy. 」
