「Spotty WiFi but great and quaint! 」

「I needed a break away on my own after a recent bereavement. Biggie Hall Hotel surpassed my wildest expectations. Such a beautiful Hotel: really friendly, helpful staff. Immaculate, clean, stylish room. I dined in : good food. Stunning gardens and an awesome 17 century house with immaculate decor. 」

「Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. 」

「We were welcomed and the room was clean and the beds really comfortable, nice walk from the door but also lots of gorgeous quaint villages within short drives. The food was good and no issue with parking at all. 」

「Loved the facilities and room :) we had a great 3 day stay. Only thing we didn't like is the TV not registering hdmi so we couldn't watch any movies during our down time after hikes and swimming, and the live TV didn't work often. Other than that we were mostly outdoors and exploring Peak District but coming back to a clean room and relaxing in the hot tub and pool was great. 」

「Lovely hotel - very cosy and festive over the New Year period. Pretty gardens with a river running at the bottom. Slightly disappointed not to have had a dog bed or any bowls considering the additional dog charge. There was some confusion with the level of service between the restaurant and the hotel which left us waiting for our meal alone in the bar area. However, staff were very friendly. 」

「The welcome and friendliness of staff was good. Hotel was nice, perfect location. Were staying in the courtyard rooms which were well equipped clean but incredibly hot. The restaurant service for dinner and breakfast was great and food very nice. Unfortunately the bar service on our first got was a big let down, very slow and staff did not know how to make cocktails and were prioritising serving drinks for the restaurant over customers waiting at the bar. In fact, we started getting served and...

「This is obviously quite a 'bare bones' hotel but given how expensive some hotels can be in Sheffield, it was brilliant value. We parked easily, were able to check in early and it's a convenient location for getting in and out of the city easily. Coffee & a croissant for breakfast was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.」

「Lovely warm, clean and cosy accommodation in a beautiful village. We travelled early in the week in low season, so the pub understandably wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday, Also there is very poor sign for mobile phone and data and we were unable to get the wi fi password, which made contact for work a bit difficult. Otherwise great stay, would visit again 」
