「We arrived at 5:00 pm. After finding the office upstairs, the sugn on the door said it was after hours...what? But an envelope with information was there for us. Other guests helped find our room. Map provided was not helpful. Musty smell the second we opened the door, floor needed a good scrubbing, so dirty .We were only there one night, but never saw any staff.」

「Front desk staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms always clean and tidy. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were way over down. Too rubbery! I didnt get to make a waffle because of the station being over crowded every morning no matter the time. We will come back but would rather have breakfast somewhere else.」

「We loved the adult pool, but it could use additional umbrellas and umbrellas that adjust. Also there was service, but it was quite slow due to lack of staffing. The beach is okay and steep with a drop off in some areas. It's also short and the free umbrellas are small and don't provide much shade. We appreciated the coolers with electrolyte water at the entrance to the beach, but we did not spend any time on it other than to walk due to the heat, and these biting flies. The rooms are upgraded...

「We loved the hotel amenities, pool, fire pit area, deck for sitting overlooking the ocean. Easy beach access and not a crowded beach area. Umbrella and chair rentals available. The food at The Aviator Tavern was excellent. Also great location near restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Currituck Beach Lighthouse and visiting Duck was also a highlight of our trip.」

「Our room was immaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t fancy, but we were not there for that. The parking was adequate. The view from our room was gorgeous.」

「Nice staff, great location, but the place is full of mosquitos, all kinds of bugs, and even snake... Can't feel the safety after seeing that and checked out quickly... 」
