"Room was very clean and comfortable, the location is perfect for me, the exercise equitment was high quality and functioning properly, the breakfast good, 24 hour coffee and infused water and Sam at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I always stay there when I come to visit family and will continue to do so. Also the price is very reasonable. "

"Eggs and hot food at breakfast were noticeably weak. Most people left them on their plate. I overheard many people in the dining room complaining. Bed was comfortable. Many loud people in the hall in the morning and slamming doors. Inconsiderate guests; nothing hotel can do about it. Unfortunately, it comes with the price point! No extra blankets on a very cold night. Fairly priced for the hotel’s strengths but the weaknesses were glaring and easily fixable. Affordable does not have to mean inedible food."

"For the price compared to other options, it was a great option. It's not the newest hotel but staff was friendly, felt secure, clean. And it's a great location next to several dining options. "

"My husband and I visited in celebration of his 40th birthday and we were there two nights at the beginning of December. If you love Christmas like I do, coming during the month of December means you get to see the inn decked out in all its beautiful Christmas finery! LOVED the decorations throughout the communal spaces. The tavern and restaurant on site are wonderful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The staff was nothing but welcoming and warm and the epitome of small-town charm. Everyone we met were friendly and kind. We're already talking about when we'll visit again. Only downside of our king-sized suite in the historic inn was the sink drained very slowly. I let the front-desk staff know on our way out so it could be fixed for the next guest in the space. Other than that, the suite was lovely and perfect for our stay. One last thing: so much is within walking distance from the Country Inn. Many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, the Berkeley Springs State Park and the bath houses. We walked everywhere and most places we got to in 7 minutes or less. That close in proximity."
