  • When I am out with my camera, I look for something inspiring, something different that I can capture and often print to create an everlasting memory for myself and my friends. Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. Many choices for breakfast. Really liked the option of sauteed peppers and onions with the scrambled eggs and home fries. The whole hotel had a very pleasing and soothing aroma throughout. And everyone, from the service desk (Kushi?) to the lady servicing the buffet were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very convenient location. Wouldl definitely stay here again!

Great location! Located right off the highway and conveniently located beside a gas station. There's a small 24hr McDonald's as well. Ample parking, friendly staff, very clean hotel, and you're provided with hot breakfast. The pool was nice and relaxing as well.
