「On arrival the owner, Paul met us with a very warm and friendly greeting. We were advised of how the placed worked -getting through the secure doors etc, and shown to reception. Paul was very attentive and friendly, giving the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The areas that we saw were very nicely decorated - to a high standard, and the whole place was very clean. The room was a good size, again very clean and well maintained. 「Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable. The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable.」

「The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. 」

「As it was an over 50’s Hotel it really was excellent for the price, the manager and the staff we met could not do enough for you, nothing was to much to ask, the breakfast was lovely and well prepared, coffee and tea really hot. My wife was in a wheelchair so we where given a ground level room with access through the back with zero stairs.」
