「My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this...

「Lovely feeling and pretty room」

「Staff were excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean and breakfast very good, all local produce. Only reason for 3* review was our room. Basically it was a single room with a double bed wedged in it. You could only get in one side of the bed, not easy for over 60s. And the room had an unpleasant smell like something had gone off in there. Only there for 2 nights so didn’t make a thing of it and just left the window open all the time.」

「A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights」
