Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit.
Amazing pub in a great village. Rooms were great although a little cold in the night

Excellent Stay
We had a wonderful stay at The Lamb, all the staff were very friendly. Delicious full veggie breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Plus a lovely evening meal. Really good with our pooch, all in all great.
Lovely place, friendly staff. Delicious food and breakfast. Room comfortable, my only minor issue was the sound of the air/con heating unit outside, but i am a light sleeper! Apart from that pretty much perfect!
Great food, great service and lovely interiors. Really liked the bedroom design, however we didn’t have any hot water in the morning when we woke up. The staff were lovely and offered us a shower in another room and complimentary breakfast as an apology.
This review is really about my getting away for a break and to be allowed to just chill out. I did not require super attentive service or astonishing presentation of food, or attention to detail and so if these were missing it did not affect my stay.
I am very grateful for the tolerance of the staff when I managed to get back way after midnight.
Staff great, place fantastic, food lovely, hot water in room oddly intermittent!
Thing's that let the place down were on the first night fire exit had rubbish bags blocking it and cleaning staff blocked narrow corridors with piles of sheets. Both matters raised with management, this was dealt with.
Overall it’s a nice hotel to stay at, rooms all nicely decorated. But lacked a hair dryer! Would have given it more stars but the food let it down I found it was limited menu and not catering for Asian tastes, although the staff did their best on the evening. I had the belly of pork which was fine put the vegetables tasted as they had been reheated from earlier in the day. So overall just passable for a one night stay.
What a quaint little hotel...we were so happy to discover that they had an A/C unit in the room even tho it wasn't cooling very well, but the staff brought us a fan which made everything copasetic. Of course it was a bit inconvenient not having an elevator but we were only 1 floor up so it wouldn't be a deal breaker. The dinner at the onsite restaurant was fantastic and one of the best on our month log adventure. Staff was friendly & super helpful...would stay again if I find myself in the area.
Lovely cosy pub with great rooms. Nice outside areas and good beer.
Rooms are stylish and comfortable and a great breakfast available if needed. Limited parking but always manage tobpark
This hotel is lovely! The staff were so friendly and helpful! We stayed one night in their two twin bed rooms and the beds were comfortable and the room was imaculate. That isn’t easy considering the inn was built in the 12th century! Dinner in the restaurant was great - food was yummy and we even struck up a conversation with a local couple. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
