"The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, also the breakfast was fantastic with nice views of Yale. The problem was the noise from the outside vehicles. I understand that the hotel cannot do much about this but from 11 PM - 1 AM, vehicles were constantly revving their motors and playing loud music. We were on the 17th floor, but we could hear the noise clearly."

"My bed was lumpy, the water was way too harsh, and had an issue with my key. Other than that I didn’t let it bring me down I was there to graduate college and if I had to deal with this stuff I was gonna do it anyway."

"We enjoyed it three nights stay during our daughter’s graduation from Quinnipiac. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back."

"The hotel is showing signs of age. The room was large but dated. The AC unit was so loud that it woke me every time it kicked on during the night. The proximity to the highway was an isssue for the side of the building facing that way. Between the AC and the highway it was difficult to get a good night’s rest. The pillows were nice. The shower head was stuck in an awkward position so I had to squeeze into the corner to get under the water, and the toilet paper was the cheapest, thinnest one-ply I’ve seen. It was transparent. Maybe it was an eco initiative? The parking was nice and the staff was friendly but kept to themselves. I have several upcoming trips to the area and will be searching for an alternative. The rate was low and that’s what drove my decision to stay there but I’ll spend more to get more next trip."

"Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. "
