"This was my first time staying here and it was great. It’s close to downtown New Haven which means most things are in walking distance. The hotel is extremely nice, very well decorated, and clean. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help accommodate me. The rooms were spacious and the TV came equipped with both apps and casting abilities which was a plus for me cause I didn’t have to sign in to my accounts which I hate doing. This is definitely my new go to hotel when I come to Connecticut."

"Staff to a person were friendly and personable and professional. Room was clean with all systems functioning well. Location is in the Historic District in attractive neighborhood. It is at the intersection of two quite busy roads but road noise was not an issue. Standard hotel free breakfast is served in a very pleasant room. Afternoon wine and cheese in the lobby is a nice touch. All in all, a pleasant stay."

"Decent Stay, But Room Condition Left a Lot to Be Desired... The location and staff were fine overall, but the condition of our room was disappointing. Cleanliness and amenities both fall well below what I'd expect from any hotel stay. On arrival, we noticed the room was not properly cleaned. Beyond that, there were some odd maintenance issues — a lightbulb was missing from a fixture, the carpet had been cut out in a section and not replaced cleanly, and the refrigerator ran so loudly throughout the night that it was genuinely disruptive. These aren't minor inconveniences — they're basics that any guest should be able to count on."

"The room itself was clean, the bed also seemed clean. There is no refrigerator/microwave. The biggest issue I had was with the bed, the bed needs a big upgrade. Every movement you would hear the metal springs crying out, I'm not sure if it's springs inside the mattress or the box spring, but it was annoying and uncomfortable."

"I would 100% stay here again. Prefect location only blocks away from Yale University. Convenient and walkable to lost of attractions. The staff was extraordinarily helpful. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar on the 19th floor with a beautiful view of Yale Campus. Some reviews stated the decor was dated so I was a bit apprehensive, but I was pleasantly surprised. True, the underground parking garage is a bit tight but parking overnight was only $25 and that's a deal where I come from. Plus I got a great room rate on Expedia."
