Property was convenient to Hammanassett Beach state park, however, the check in process was less than I expected, the room was adequate, however, the bathroom toilet did not flush !! There was no one available to ask for help with that after we checked in at 9 pm.

Affordable place to stay. Beds were comfortable but it needs a better cleaning. Found hair in the toilet, an used soap by the bathtub and some hair tie by the bottom of the bed

As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter.

Bettwäsche war dreckig aber riechte frisch. Da der Raum nicht gewärmt war, was man in Dezember erwartet und es nur zwei dünne „Bettdecken“ gab musste ich mit Klamotten schlafen. Da hätte ich auch im Auto schlafen können. Naja irgendwann konnte der AC den Raum endlich erwärmen. Leider war dieser so laut das ich den AC nicht anlassen konnte und das Zimmer kühlt direkt ab.

I just wish the housekeeping would have come in and gave me fresh towels and sheets at least once. I stayed 5 nights, 5 days and to ask for a blanket was like I was bothering. And no curtains in the bathroom!

Quite and Clean - No Frills

The morning we were to start our trip, we had an emergency delay. We arrived at the hotel about 5 hours later than we had expected. They called us to reconfirm our stay. They were very pleasant and helpful.
