「What a gem! Andrew and Charmaine are wonderful hosts, so friendly, and helpful with tips about restaurants in the area, and more. The guesthouse is wonderful. The furnishings, fixtures and fittings are modern and functional. The bed was comfy. The room amenities included a safe, small fridge, AC, TV and coffee/tea station. The bathroom was well appointed. The toiletries are top class. Breakfast (cooked to order) was delicious. All in all, a great experience. Easy to recommend. Thanks guys!」

「Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. 」

「Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. 「Excellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! 」
