「We had a wonderful 3-night stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our clean first floor room. So easy to come and go, and close to the pool and convenient free parking. We brought our bikes and were able to ride a lot. Also, the beach was right across the street, and we could walk to some restaurants. We also enjoyed the coffee and muffins each morning in the courtyard. Would highly recommend The Islander Inn!」

「It’s a clean and convenient hotel. Nothing fancy. It’s ok. No noise. Check out is at 12,. I asked for 1 pm check out and they say said no. Too bad. That set the tone for me」

「Everything was great, including the ease of booking the reservation right through checkout. My only complaint was, hence the 4 starts, the shower had only 1 of the 2 doors.」

「Stay away from this place. The hotel has not been maintained in years and is in total decay. The beds were OK but the room was in bad condition. Not enough water pressure, no reliable internet, the soap hand dispensers had smudges bad enough to make you feel uncomfortable touching them. The bathroom door was used as a punching bag by a previous customer and had been poorly repaired. The toilet seat was not clean (disgusting) and there was dried blood on the wall. I had paid for three nights but...

「No soap. Lights falling down from the ceiling. Disgusting property. My car got dented in the parking lot somehow?? The lady at check in was very nice so she gets a star. The other folks I talked to on the phone couldn't even find my reservation. Stay away.」

「The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had a musty smell. Bathroom needs updating. The blanket in the closet looked like it was dry rotted. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was nice.」

「The breakfast offers only one protein option (eggs); otherwise, it’s just bread in every form imaginable! Luckily, there’s a Cracker Barrel right next door. When we checked in, we were assisted by a very helpful woman, but later on, there was another person at the front desk with a very bad attitude.」
