"Always read reviews before booking, but not able to book the hotel we usually stayed since it is full. But the experience at sandman is much better than I thought. The room is clean. The staff is friendly. The kids like the water slide a lot. "

"To begin we booked our room a few weeks in advance for two adults and one child. We also requested that we needed to have a roll away bed for our son. The website gave us a choice of a king bed of two double beds. We choose a king for us and sent an email to the hotel that we were not just requesting but needing an extra bed for our son. We were really disappointed with the hotel. We had booked a king room with a roll away bed for our son. We found out once we had arrived that there was not enough room for the extra bed. They insisted that we were to have a 2x double bed room. My husband and I tried to explain that we would still need a separate bed for our young son. We are not tiny people. We (Two bigger sized adults) do not fit comfortably in a double bed and our son move around a lot in his sleep. Their attitude was like tough. This is what you get. But we can up grade you to a harbour view. Which turned out to be a pool view only. The hot tub water was dirty and the jets did not work. When we went to check out we were greeted the same way we had the night before. I am finding the customer service at this hotel has gone down hill and we will not be returning. "

"Very much enjoyed out stay. Our room was ready very early, we were given a complimentary upgrade. The pool, hot tub and gym were quite nice. The location of the hotel is perfect for getting around downtown. Beautiful views. "

"The hotel was very nice. We went to use the pool and hot tub and found it had very large exercise facilities. The hot tub wasn’t particularly hot but it was a nice escape. There were two hot tubs but one was only open on the last day following maintenance. "
