"Great location for walking around Annapolis "

"We stayed here for our 17th anniversary and reserved the best room in the hotel; king suite w/terrace. Let me a start with the good... ALL of the staff are super friendly and helpful, minus the cleaning staff who didnt speak and didn'tdo a good job cleaning our room; the staff is not the problem with this place in my opinion. We immediately walked in to a dead stickbug on the tv stand that looked like it had been there a while. We examined the room and found cobwebs all over the batroom. All the HVAC units stated "change filter". There was a broken tile at the base of the shower where you step inand one of the dispenser in the bathroom was broken off from the shower; never would have noticed accept they didnt even remove the broken part. The curtains in yhe living room were litterally falling off due to being broken. There furniture is arranged in the bedroom so that you can't actually close the door. There were stains all over the rug in the living room. All of the decore and furniture looked at least 20 years old, and seemed like a random put together room with leftover furniture and decore. This was supposed to be the nicest room I was told, h to see the others. We only didn't leave or complain cause we hadn't planned on spending much time in the room. We have stayed in a lot of places much nicer than this for less and way better for not much more then we spent here. The room is not worth the money at all. I could go on about a few other small things but you get the point"

"Darius at the front desk was very personable and well informed on the property. The lobby was very welcoming with beautiful furniture and color scheme. Our room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious! We will most certainly be returning"

"My prepaid $50.00 parking spot was not available. I was told to park in municipal lot. I refused and they made another arrangement for me to park. No elevator. Had to carry luggage up and down 3 long steep flights of stairs. No mention about lack of elevators in promotion and listing materials. No hot water in the morning (7:00) at the toilet room sink or in the shower despite running it for 30 minutes. No one on premises to assist. After returning from breakfast 2 hours later I was told the hot water was working. By this time I was packed, dressed and ready to depart. Too little too late. Ceiling fan set on high and noisy with no way to slow it. Had to turn it off despite room being warm. No one from management or otherwise available on premises to assist. Would not recommend. Keep in mind I paid $400.00 one night for two adults. So many better options available in Annapolis. "
