「I booked this hotel for the suite- 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. It does look like the online photos, but what you can’t see is the room (especially the bathroom) is not clean at all. I’m not overly picky about hotels or cleanliness, but this was gross. I should have read further into the reviews, but we stopped late at night on our way to our final vacation spot. We didn’t even attempt the breakfast, as we couldn’t wait to get out of there.」

The carpets in the room and hallway were gross and desperately need shampooed or replaced with flooring other than carpet that does not hold smells!」

「I stayed 10 days and I was so impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the kindness they showed. My room was clean and neat as well as the hotel was well maintained. I will never stay at another hotel in Charleston other than the Holiday Inn express.」

「Overall very good experience. But the complementary breakfast was only available until 8:30 am.」

「The hotel was difficult to get to. You can see it from the interstate, but when you get off at the exit, you can't see it. There are no signs directing you to the hotel. I finally found it. The lady working the front desk was ok. Not the most friendly. The room was clean. Had difficulty sleeping because the noise from the interstate which was right across the parking lot, literally. Walk out the room door, walk across the not so wide lot and climb the embankment and you're standing on...

「The breakfast was minimal, when things needed replenished , the one staff on site acted put out and only added items when asked. Two separate hotels ours was the 3rd floor, the smell of pot was overwhelming, and there was a loud machine running in the building at 2 am which made it near impossible to sleep. I pray our next hotel is as advertised.」

「We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared.」
