「Good stay, great location, easy safe parking」

「We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.」

「Overall felt safe, clean environment, and slept well. Hot shower and cold AC. The elevator did not seem very sturdy but it worked & the ice maker on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The breakfast was good, however since it was busy the food ran out the employees did their best to replenish the food. We wouldn’t mind staying again, especially for the price.」

「All the staff (regardless of what time of day you interacted with them) were very pleasant and got along with one another. The longevity of their time working for The Super 8 in Dunbar is a testament to how they’re treated by management. I stayed at the other 2 hotels in Dunbar and the owner has a big turnover of staff. If you like black mold and questionable bookkeeping (ie., billing inflated) don’t reserve at the Super 8. If you like clean rooms and honest billing then the Super 8 is the place...

「While I appreciated the Embassy now has free breakfast with omelet station I was disappointed in the overall quality that this facility had over the years There was a new valet system being initiated and it was chaos as well as the female valets ignoring you or being rude Also I didn’t realize how many stores and restaurants were not convenient since the major decline of downtown Southridge will have my business from now on」

「The room was great. The outside of the property was a bit run down and the area was so-so. But, that is also practical and expected for the price point. I had a good night's sleep and got back on the road the next day without any issues, so it was a good experience.」

「We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared.」

「I was having surgery so I couldn't have breakfast but my husband went down and breakfast was being served and he said everything was good and hot. As for the staff, not impressed. She was taking a reservation on the phone and didn't bother to say I'll be right with you and when she got off the phone didn't apologize for my wait. 「The breakfast was minimal, when things needed replenished , the one staff on site acted put out and only added items when asked. Two separate hotels ours was the 3rd floor, the smell of pot was overwhelming, and there was a loud machine running in the building at 2 am which made it near impossible to sleep. I pray our next hotel is as advertised.」
