"The staff was nice. We stayed in room 250 and it was VERY loud with traffic noise our first night. I bought ear plugs from the lobby for $3 and our second night wasn’t as bad. Not sure if it was due to the ear plugs (as I could still hear some noise) or if the traffic just wasn’t as bad… The kids said they could hear showering down stairs when they were trying to sleep. Other than that, it’s a good hotel for the price. The free breakfast was a nice perk. The pool seemed small for the property size and was packed most of our stay. Location was good. Not quite walking distance to the beach and boardwalk, but it’s only a couple minutes away."

"The property is well-located—just a few meters from the beach and within walking distance of the beach town and the pier—which is why I gave it 4 stars; however, the facilities need maintenance. There is an elevator that gets stuck, everything looks very old, and the breakfast is very poor—they provide oatmeal but there is no microwave to heat it up. We requested housekeeping service but it wasn't done; we had to take our towels to the reception desk to get them changed."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location and has a quiet, homey atmosphere. My room was clean and quiet, however it was rather dark since it was below ground level and the lighting was poor. The hotel offers coffee, tea and iced water in the lobby, however, I’m glad I took my electric kettle and instant Starbucks coffee that I made in my room - which had a much better flavor than the coffee offered in the lobby. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It is a pity there is no outdoor seating area outside the hotel, though the cafe down the way does. All in all, I was satisfied with my stay and would return if I have an occasion to do so."

"The parking lot entrance was super steep which was startlingly but doable on a motorcycle. The staff was very sweet. The patio out front was a nice place to eat breakfast and the laundry room was wonderfully convenient. There is no soap available so we walked 3 blocks to a market and got some supplies. The room itself was compact but comfortable with fridge, microwave and a little coffee maker. The ocean is at the end of the block. We would stay here again."
