"Great location to beach, wind protected pool and Jacuzzi, great free breakfast, well designed and functional room and bathroom. Decent balcony with chairs and small table. The second floor view of the ocean is much better and for those thinking the first floor has better access to the pool, they have large walled flower beds in front of the patio with signs don't walk through."

"They are currently in the middle of renovating, so our room was at the sister property next door. The room was nice, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was helpful. The pool at that location was nice but small, and the jacuzzi was out of order. We woke up to a ton of food trash outside our room door that the receptionist said was due to the birds. A more secure trash situation from the property would be appreciated."

"We upgraded to a two bedroom suite in the old Shore Cliff side of the Pacific Point hotel - the newly refurbished room was beautiful and our balcony had the best view I've ever seen anywhere in the world - absolutely spectacular. Loved spending time on it and saw dolphins and whales. Beds were comfy and we slept well. On the downside, the kitchenette wasn't well equipped or easily useable - it had a microwave and large fridge but loads of practically empty cupboards (no cutlery, very few pieces of crockery) and - most bizarrely - no sink to wash up in! We'd brought some deli food for dinner but as there were no plates we had to eat out of some small coffee cups we found and when these were taken away by housekeeping the next day, they weren't replaced. When we requested cutlery from reception we were given plastic knives and forks which were pretty useless for chopping and not great from an environmental perspective."
