I was really amazed with this hotel. This was a much needed retreat after enduring a devastating death in our family. Beautiful surroundings, modern room, friendly staff - couldn't ask for more. It's a 5 minute drive to the beach, or a 10 minute bike ride, with bikes provided by the hotel. There is a nearby market/restaurant (2 min walking distance) for easy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Even though we went during off-season, we didn't miss out on any experiences, including shops and restaurants by the beach.

Very quiet and peaceful and near beach hot springs and trails. I would appreciate for amenities a better coffee and tea service in the lobby. Such a nice resort could easily supply a nice coffee espresso machine to make several styles of coffees from fresh ground beans and a bigger selection of tea and a good hot water fountain/sink and water boiler,
