Brilliant hotel but location was terrible lots of homeless and dodgy characters and long walk from anything would definitely recommend booking something in a safer area closer to Santa Monica or Hollywood. Stay away from this hotels location unless you want to get mugged or have your car broken into.

Good location, just beware the walls are very thin. When we visited there were lots of bikers so you could hear everytime they came and went. Other than that we had a good stay.
