「We only stayed at the Richmond Park Hotel for one night as we were meeting other family members to do the Bo’ness & Kinneil steam train trip. The hotel is lovely with welcoming efficient staff. The copper kiln bar & restaurant is cosy and there is an outside area with picnic tables and chairs for summers evenings. We stayed in a superior king room & it was spacious and very comfortable, Bar & food prices are very reasonable and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommend! 」

What really stood out was the staff: exceptionally friendly and genuinely helpful. On Saturday morning, when we discovered that airport taxis in Linlithgow need to be booked in advance, the hotel team stepped in and quickly helped us arrange one. 「I liked having the kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The free standing fan came in very handy as it was very hot when I visited. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building.」

「They told us up front there was no A/C, but we figured, 70 and raining would be fine. Well was 79 and sunny, and with only one tiny window that only opened 2 inches, the place was like sweatbox. The upside, is that the staff were wonderful! The restaurant next door has a great pub, and excellent fish and chips!」

「Really loved the spa and the property. Food was good. Only thing is the lake on the property was full of trash, probably not the hotels fault but if it's their property it is something to be addressed since there was water life living in the habitat. 」
