This staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was clean and well stocked. Dinner service was excellent, the food was delicious. I didn’t have a chance to order from the bar but I did go in to see it and it was fully stocked with whatever you might want. I would 100% return to Glenskirlie Castle.

I was a little disappointed to learn the castle was built in 2001. The room was super cute though. Not totally soundproof. Loved the claw foot tub.

Brilliant 1 day stay

The hotel was located a bit away from Falkirk however the it looked amazing. The hotel room was also set-up well and had wonderful colours. Bathroom was spacious and the bathtub was comfy. I would definitely stay there again! However the walls are rather thin and you can hear a decent amount when people are walking by.

It was cozy but in comparison to other hotels I wouldnt stay again. The restaurant was very delicious compliments to the chef. However, breakfast was too restrictive in the times available. The staff was accommodating even when breakfast wasnt available, but 1 hr breakfast window 8-9am on the weekend and 2 hrs 7-9am during the week is very restrictive compared to other hotels. The room was comfortable, but the event was loud after 10pm which wasn't nice for my sleep. For events this can be a nice option but I wouldnt stay as a hotel again.

Castle has lovely grounds and is very visually appealing. First impression entering hotel was very good. Lovely reception area and very informative and friendly staff member. Room was lovely at first glance however on closer inspection there was quite a few repairs needing done. Then on the bedding there was horrific staining on the bed throw one can only assume what it was so I felt unable to bring this up with staff. During the night I was kept awake most of the night by very noisy guests right through until at least 3am. I went to reception , restaurant and bar however no sign of any staff member. Further to that as the noise continued I tried to telephone reception to no avail. I must stress I do not want any retribution on this staff member as he was very apologetic and tried to make things right in the morning by agreeing for me to have a late check out ahead of a long car journey. I wish I could have enjoyed my stay.

Excellent room, I was lucky enough to get an upgrade but all rooms are excellent anyway. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Food is good, great place to stay.

This is a beautiful property. Dinner was excellent, the staff was kind and professional. The room was large and the bathroom was luxurious. The food was phenomenal. I wish we had stayed here more than one night. The one problem I had was that one of the mattresses on the king bed in the room was junk and needed replacing.
This mille-feuille was nothing short of a work of art. And it tasted as good as it looked.

If you plan to stay here, rethink it and book somewhere else. They largely operate as a venue and both nights we were there they had wedding receptions…that ran way into the mornings so we got little to no sleep. To make it worse the rooms were extremely dated and had few amenities. And don’t get me started on the food in the dining room. Bottom line, unless you are part of an event scheduled here, don’t book at this property.
