My first time at a Metro so not sure what to expect the Kitchen looked fully equipped I did not use, a lot of the fridges looked full. Plenty of signs saying what not to do camera's are in the kitchen saying do not use other peoples food etc. I have not stayed in a hotel with shared facilities so wanted to give it a go. The reception is maned 24 hours give room keys in when going out each time to save lost keys. The room was clean no kettles in the room bot are in the kitchen with a coffee tea machine in the entrance . The post code I had took me across the road to the Premier hotel not sure why. A buffet place is next door with a Pub across the road at the Premier hotel

The value for money here was incredible. Despite reading some unsavoury reviews, we have nothing but praise for it. We chose a room with private facilities, and although small, it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Bed sheets were spotless, white cotton good quality, as were the towels. There was a 2 drawer chest of drawers between the single beds, hanging space but no hangers, only hooks. We had our own hangers with us so no problem. Tea/coffee making facilities incuded too. There is a fabulous Bejing Banquet right next door to Metro Inns if you want somewhere good to eat. The shower/ toilet/ wash basin fits into a compact space with a modesty screen door for privacy. a couple of shower gels and shampoo provided also. We were on ground floor and experienced no late noise whatsoever.

Health hazard. Do NOT book here, we did not stay and have been refused a refund. Reception staff hang up on guests attempting to get a refund. The receptionist (who I am not allowed to name) is rude and abrupt, excuses everything by saying “budget hotel, what do you expect?”, when you advise her that you do not expect mould in the room she has no answer. Unsure if the manager exists as always seems to be night shift (probably to avoid unhappy guests). Have had to pass to lawyers to claim back as this hotel is severely falsely advertised and below standard. Unless you want to stay with mould and dirty carpets, a shower you’d need to wear your shoes to get in then you should avoid this.

Staff always available. Really helpful and very kind all of them. Kitchen really good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The price is really good for all the service. If you know hotel Formule 1 in France, this is exactly one of them, but with people in the reception.

The receptionist was brilliant and did her job well. No shaver socket, no bedside lamps, no hairdryer as advertised. Kettle too big to fit under the tap. Shower door could not be totally closed. Mildew and cracked tiles in shower room. Window sill had half the paint missing. I have photos of everything which I will send to head office. Hotel basically needs a revamp as not really fit for purpose. Tonight we are in another motorway services hotel which is cheaper and 5 star by comparison.

This is by far the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. There was literal feces smeared on the wall. The mattresses have to be 40 years old at least and are stained beyond anything my worst nightmares could come up with. The shared bathrooms were even worse. I can’t believe Expedia even allows a place like this on their site. The health department needs to be called. We left and had to use hand sanitizer just from being in the building.
