"Loved this hotel which is an old converted warehouse. Very convenient for hop on/off trolley bus. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful."
"Be aware that there is a $40 per day destination fee. They also charge $50 if you want to check in early and charge to have a mini fridge in your room. Unheard of! They nickel and dime you for standard features. Also, Originally they put me in a room where the air conditioning wasn’t working, and there was some kind of makeshift air conditioner in there and my view was of a trashcan. They got us another room, but I was disappointed that they would put us in a room that was old and musty and looked like it should’ve been closed for renovation rather than putting us there for a four day stay originally. The front desk staff is not that friendly, but the hotel location is amazing. Close to everything and quiet and peaceful at night. We would stay there again, but I do feel like they may need to step up their front desk customer engagement. "
"This hotel has beautiful architecture and history. The rooms were modern. It was in a great area of Boston, close to Boston Common, shopping and theater district. We appreciated the free drink ticket and enjoyed “The last Hurrah” restaurant."
"The Royal Sonesta was a great option for our long weekend in Boston. Easy to get to from Logan airport, close to the river and easy to walk to and access all the popular spots in Boston. Price was good and the hotel itself was an ideal base to explore from. Staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful. Certainly coming back to Boston and would stay at the Royal Sonesta again when I do. "
