Nice bedding, lighting, kettle coffee/tea, furnishings. Quite a bit of people noise and room door lock beeping in the hallway. 「Solo traveller - peaceful night in a very comfortable bed and spacious room. Cleanliness up to speck with crisp white bedding and fluffy towels. Wonderful breakfast with tasty locally sourced bacon. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve chosen the Derby Arms for a stay over now, for a fussy traveller it fits the bill beautifully! Central location for Longridge/Ribble Valley.」

「Despite hearing the contrary, found everything absolutely fine, my room was clean, staff were excellent, buffet breakfast had enough choices in my opinion. OK, so the tea bags in the room were not very nice & the communal decor could do with a bit of modernisation, but that’s trivial & didn't affect a positive review.」
