"Totally exceeded our expectations A real pub, full of locals all enjoying themselves. Spotlessly clean, great bar staff, really friendly and well trained. Food was Vunderba, all home cooked. Room was immaculate and characterful. Breakfast wonderful Definitely return for longer jyst to stay here. "

"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "
