We had two newly refurbished and one original room, all were very clean, comfortable and well presented with the new rooms being beautiful. The shared areas of the hotel are a little tired and some carpets a bit threadbare but they will hopefully be upgraded in due course. The patio is beautiful on a sunny day and we enjoyed sitting out pre dinner and post breakfast. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Very well positioned for a visit to the golf or to the seaside.

The hotel is currently being extensively refurbished, and the updated rooms are modern and impressive. My only concern is the dog fee. It's great that dogs are allowed, but charging £30 per dog per night feels excessive, especially when it can cost more than using kennels. Overall, a good stay, but the pet charges could be more reasonable.

Just back a lively weekend away at The Villa. Staff fantastic, hotel under goung refurb work but did not cause us any issues. Manager Caitlyn has the best Customer Service skills I have come across for years. Bar could do with better choice of wines but plenty selection of other drinks and bar staff were helpful and polite. All in all a fabulous place to be
