「Sunday arrival, 2 night stay I really struggled to give this place a second star. It's terrible. A few points in no particular order: -parking is $15 per night. Limit 1 vehicle per room. -elevator is not air conditioned. You literally feel like you're being suffocated. Heaven forbid someone gets stuck. -The AC died in my room and we had to move mid-stay. 「Room was clean. In our room there was a toilet closet only. No privacy for the shower. Dog friendly, and it was loaded with dogs. Be ready for intermittent barking, and we encountered dog puke in the elevator. View of the navy ship was great. Parking safe, but $25 per day for self park. Rooftop longe was great for fireworks. 」

「Room didn’t have a fridge just an ice bucket but the ice machines weren’t working & reception unhelpful. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty for the whole of our stay. Not great for a Hilton property」

「Did not appreciate having dogs on the property. Especially in the dining area. It was observed a German shepherd in the area sniffing the coffee area as well as food dropping on the floor. This is very unacceptable and I’ve made the decision not to return to this property.」

「Don’t expect to check in on time. Bed is super uncomfortable, makes a lot of noise with the springs and is super sunk in. I woke up in so much back pain. Floors were sticky, place smelled like dirty mop water. There was a random electrical hole in our wall in the room. They didn’t even have a toilet paper holder. The pool was the nicest thing they offered, but it’s shared with the connecting hotel, which might’ve been the better option for stay…」

「The hotel was conveniently close to the airport - about 10 mins. Katey May checked us in and was super professional and offered several options for dining and activities. The room was clean and very well appointed. Great location, close to historic downtown Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and also close to highways to visit Carolina Beach, Southport, and Myrtle. Finally, their check in warm cookies cannot be beat! A fantastic experience!」
