"We stayed at The Green Man after a half day canoeing on the Wye at Symonds Yat. Great location. Check in was really easy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was great , bed was comfy and had an iron, tea/coffee making facilities with a good range of tea/hot chocolate. Parking is aplenty and we had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent - all four of us cleaned our plates and were really happy with what we ordered. We didn’t have breakfast but can imagine it...

"The location is fantastic being on the High Street in a central location and nicely set back from the hoards of tourists. The staff are lovely and engaging. Lunch and evening meals were beautifully cooked but breakfast at £21.50 per head was not great, being over cooked and one of the most expensive I’ve had, probably ever. On the subject of price, whilst the evening meal was lovely, £40+ each for a Goan Fish Curry and a Ribeye Steak was excessive being on or above the price of a good London...

"Room was great, just what we needed. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was lovely well cooked and presented. We tried the evening meal and this was cooked to perfection! staff really accommodating as delayed meal due to heavy workload but manager sorted it out perfectly. Will definitely stay again thanks all."
