It’s a real pub, so smokers and drinkers in the courtyard as we were shown to our room. Spotless and allowed to enter it early as it was ready for us. Staff were very welcoming and the choice and quality of breakfast was excellent.

Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to be expected. My only negative comment is that the shower wasn’t the cleanest , tiles and grouting were black with mould . All it needs is a good scrub . We would visit again .

Lovely old inn, plenty of character. Rooms clean, nice bed linen and towels. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly. Air-conditioning would have been appreciated but wasn't expected and really is seldom needed in the UK. Pleasant to sit in the beer garden for drinks and snacks.

The hotel is nice but there was a significant amount of damage to the shower that had been patched over years and a lot of black mould from very poor cleaning. Breakfast was mostly good although the eggs Benedict wasn’t so good.
