Friendly staff and locals in a beautiful Olde worlde hotel. Made to feel very welcome but genuine none of this going through the motions. We loved it and will re visit.

A beautiful, old hotel with beautiful architecture and wonky stairs. The staff were excellent. The rooms were well equipped, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. It is in the centre of the town. Parking is available a little way away but thete is a paying carpark ...

The Vale Golf and Country Club
Wifi very poor. Poor selection of biscuits when the clubhouse is so remote and closed on an evening. Breakfast expensive for 1 sausage, 1 poached egg and two fatty rations of bacon and 1/2 a tomato & 1 slice of toast with no marmalade or butter.
