"This was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Roosevelt suite which was clean and spacious for our family of 4. The pool was a great bonus, very clean , spacious and not too cold! Rochelle was especially kind and professional to us, going out of her way to give us a small tour we requested and showing us some of the most fascinating places in the hotel and teaching us some of the history. I felt very safe, as security was always on post to ensure everything went smoothly. The food at the hotel was great and the room service speedy and professional. When we visit again we will certainly choose Hotel Roosevelt! "

"The recent renovations make this Best Western seem like a great deal for the Sunset Blvd location. The breakfast buffet was decent: eggs, sausage, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The pool and patio area were beautiful--a great place to hang out in the sun or relax with friends in the evening. As a bonus, the hotel is walking distance from two comedy clubs."

"Neighborhood needs a refresh. We typically stay at Sofitel and chose this one due to central location to other LA areas. However the surrounding area was less “vibrant”than we expected and had to walk a mile or so to get to an area with shops, restaurants, etc. (Although there was a dated indoor mall across the street.) The staff was friendly, room was clean and beds were comfy. Pool was closed for repairs, so that was disappointing. "

"The air conditioning worked well, parking was easy. The TV did not work well; had connection and remote problems. The phone did not work at first, but the staff came and fixed it right away. The room was nice, except the bathroom door was translucent, though one couldn't see through it. However, when the light was turned on, it shined through the room. Troublesome at night b/c it woke me up when my wife went to the bathroom."

Not really worth $600 as far as I’m concerned there is more places to stay in LA. Location is not always the best way to make a decision. I’m sorry."
