「Really nice hotel, rooms were lovely , staff very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good, starting at 4am was perfect for us. It is a good 5 minute walk from the terminal which on a cold February morning wasn’t pleasant but ok. The other odd thing was the shower was warm , not hot but the water from the sink was hot. Not pleasant having a shower in warm water in February but other than that would stay again」

「We stayed here both the night before and after our flights from Stansted. It was just what was required - clean, warm and quiet. We had a nice meal in a local pub about 20 mins walk away called The Nags Head which was very nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The car parking was as expected £5 per night and we parked right outside (1 min walk). Super quick and easy to drive to the airport accross J8 - took about 6 mins. We would definitely stay here again before an early flight.」

「Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. 」

「I had a really lovely stay at Holiday Inn IHG. I often choose Holiday Inn for my vacations because it is a perfect way to escape the busy life in London and truly relax. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. The receptionists were especially welcoming and helpful, a special mention to the receptionist at Holiday Inn Southend on Sea, who made check-in such a pleasant experience.
