「Very nice hotel」

「Dirty carpet and bathroom. Window frame in poor condition, window wouldn't stay open and dangerously slams shut. Staff not particularly welcoming on arrival.」

「Lovely stay at The Beaches, hosts were amazing. Great room some some lovely touches, very homely. Parking on street if space available. Approx 1 mile from pier which was a lovely walk along the seashore. Breakfast was fantastic, continental selection, fruit plate and then choice from the menu I selected smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast,unlimited tea or coffee. Front & back outdoor sitting area. Would definately recommend. 」

「I would never stay here again. It’s beautiful yet totally impractical for guests. There is a “no shoes allowed” policy meaning I slipped as I carried my bags up multiple flights of stairs in socks, no air conditioning & no actual shower (just a large bath with hand-held shower handle). I think the owners have severely misjudged what the average guest wants. I paid about the same the week before nearby at the Premier Inn for all the amenities I wanted in a better location. I’ll be staying there...

「It is not a place i would recommend to lone females. Its not a hotel so unsure why its on hotels.com. The ffont curtilage is unkempt with weeds growing through blockpave, the rear garden is like a jungle. Not even facilities for a welcome or early morning brew unless you bring your own. Tge walls are paper thin so you gear everything. I was in room 4 which was basic, clean bedding but curtains that allow light tgrough. The overgrown shrubs in the rear garden are at window height for first floor...
