The place is in desperate need of a refurb and some tlc. Unstaffed with self check in and when I got the email with my codes to access the property I was missing the code for the room. Took a while to get the code and no apology Would not say again

You pay for what you get!

The bedding and towels were clean and the access/check in process worked really well. The property itself was a bit of a dump but you get what you pay for so no complaints

Basic, clean, affordable.

If you are looking for basic, affordable hotel for an overnight stay, this place ticks all the boxes. Almost adjacent to Westcliff Railway Station and the Seafront and just a short walk (or train ride) to Southend itself. Not sure I would want to stay here for a longer visit, but it certainly served its purpose for my brief overnight stay.
