「Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach.」

「The staff at the hotel were fantastic and assisted us with all our needs. Even though we are English speakers we felt right at home here. The rooms are modern, with excellent views of the city (we could even see Christ the redeemer from our hotel window!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful each morning and provided us a very accessible way to get breakfast with such a busy schedule. 「I rarely leave negative reviews because I’m usually very satisfied with my Expedia bookings, but unfortunately this experience at Ipanema Beach Hostel was extremely disappointing. The photos shown online did not match the actual property conditions. The place felt disorganized, poorly maintained, and far below expectations.
