「Very impersonal. Check in/out is virtual, they were fairly nice, it was hard to understand what they were saying. The shower had dirty footprints and a bottle of soap left in it. One of the washcloths was dirty with what looked like the same dirt from the footprints in the shower. The toilet had a partial strip of paper that should be broken off before the first use by new tenants, but it was just set over the top to make it look like it was cleaned. 「They did a great job renovating the Tar Heel motel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bring K-cups with you if you are a big coffee drinker and don’t pack heavy. This is the best of old school Outer Banks, reminds me of when my parents would take us to OBX in the 70’s staying at the Beacon.」
