「Nice staff, great location, but the place is full of mosquitos, all kinds of bugs, and even snake... Can't feel the safety after seeing that and checked out quickly... 」

「We had a great stay at First Colony. Our room was big and comfortable with very nice furnishings. The only drawback was that the shower was quite small. The staff as very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.」

The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy.
